Classification - Complaints

The BBFC does not receive the volume of complaints routinely dealt with by television companies. All written complaints are responded to by Examiners who helped classify the work in question and ,when necessary, the Director himself.

Listed below are recent films and film trailers about which the Board has received 10 or more complaints. Complaints are generally replied to on an individual basis.

Shrek 2 (U) – film 27 complaints on language (uses of 'bloody')
